NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Charismatic country crooner Teddy Robb releases his highly-anticipated Get Away With It, on Monument Records, today.

From the revelatory “Whiskey Can’t” and smooth “Cigarettes’ll Kill Ya,” to a new take on a song about trucks, “ 1500 ,” Robb’s two brand-new songs “Middle of Nowhere” and “Get Away With It” round out the road-ready five track collection. Co-produced by Robb with Pete Good (Walker Hayes, Alex Hall), today’s release is Robb’s first new music since his self-titled 2020 release that included breakout “Lead Me On.”

“The last two years I really came to terms with how much time I was spending simply chasing. I was living in a concrete box in the sky, and many times not in the moment, posting what portrayed a picture-perfect image when reality as a working musician was pretty grim,” reveals the Akron, Ohio native. “These songs are my personal Polaroids, capturing sporadic moments in time that aren’t planned or perfect because life’s messy — sometimes not how you want to be remembered — but those moments and images occupy the same real estate in our minds and deserve to be shared.”

Whether asking ‘How’d you get away it?’ after the bridge of the title track, or taking on the all too familiar notion of having ‘one of those nights to forget somebody,’ in “Middle of Nowhere,” Robb’s relatability reaches beyond the surface the tracks titles initially imply.

Born and raised in rural Ohio just 40 miles from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the rock-infused musician, songwriter, and singer’s move to Music City was inspired by greats Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, George Strait and Waylon Jennings, a sentiment Billboard recognizes as “a gritty sense of resignation pouring from a shattered heart.”

On Get Away With It, Robb delivers county music rooted in the imperfect, storytelling with heart, from a small town boy chasing his dreams. In the title track, penned by Robb, alongside Pete Good, Brandon Ratcliff, and Dave Turnbull, Robb sings:

I got your goodbye note,
Just like the ones I wrote,
When somebody got too close,
And I had to cut ‘em loose.
Damn look how things have changed,
Now you’re the one on that old two lane,
Beating me at my own game.

And in “Middle Of Nowhere” Robb takes us all back to standing in a crowded bar, yet feeling so alone, explaining “Maybe it’s the isolation of the last few years, but I started paying attention to the feeling of standing still in both places – alone in the city andalone on the edge of a dock in the middle of nowhere…they can both feel completely isolating or completely freeing and for very different reasons. It’s what ‘one of those nights to meet somebody’ versus ‘one of those nights to forgot somebody’ encompasses.”
